Abstract

This paper assesses the relative performance of Indian mutual funds. The Net Asset Value (NAV) of each plan at the conclusion of each trading day was employed to calculate the returns produced by the fund schemes. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange served as the benchmark for the market portfolio. Mutual fund performance is assessed by ANOVA, Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio, standard deviation, and risk-return analysis. The Indian Mutual Fund Association supplies a significant portion of the data. Research indicates that the majority of mutual funds provided positive returns throughout the trial period from April 2019 to March 2022. Mutual funds are advantageous for investors in the stock market.
