This research introduces two control strategies for the static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) that enable adaptive voltage regulation and effective d-q axis control. The complete description of both of these control strategies is provided. The Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) is a method that is both effective and reliable in order to maintain the reliability and efficiency of the power system. The PI controller has the capacity to modify the following variables: grid voltage, current, reactive power, and the stable DC link voltage of the DC link capacitor, as previously mentioned. The models are executed using the MATLAB/SIMULINK application. The STATCOM's efficiency is examined in both conventional and high-power network environments. The STATCOM's successful implementation of the selected controller in maintaining the stability of the power system within the network architecture has been demonstrated by the findings. This was achieved by effectively managing the reactive power and bus voltages.
